As a break from my hectic world, I began to scrapbook and papercraft as a stress reliever.

I have always been a crafter and was looking forward to starting this new hobby. However, there was no place local to go. No place that offered crops or classes . . . to get together with other women and share in this wonderful passion that we have. So . . .I drove many hours away from my home to begin my scrapbooking and papercrafting hobby. After showing my husband one scrapbook page I had created, I remember him saying, “You were gone from 6:00 pm until long after midnight and that’s all you did?” I was hooked from the moment I bought my first sheet of paper.

All of you Scrapbookers and Rubber Stampers have my husband, Rodney to thank for Generations of Memories. In the late summer of 2003, we were in the process of purchasing a building in Littleton, NH for one of our pool stores. One morning out of the blue he said to me “Deb, you know we are going to have a lot of extra space in the New Hampshire building.” “You ought to open a scrapbook store if you want.” What a wonderful idea he had. He knew I had a passion for the craft and it would be something we could do. WELL, let me tell you . . . he didn’t have to suggest it twice. I jumped on his suggestion and have never looked back. We opened our doors Thanksgiving week, 2003.

Since that time Generations of Memories has grown to become a mecca to fellow scrapbookers from all over New England, Canada and beyond. We pride ourselves with keeping up with industry trends along with always trying to bring in fresh ideas and cutting edge supplies. In 2006, we opened our 2nd scrapbooking store in Derby, Vermont. It is located in the same building as Country Pools, Spas & Billiards. It’s a smaller version of our Littleton, NH store, but if we don’t have what you are looking for in we will always try our best to get it for you.

At our Littleton, NH store, the sounds of progress are in the air! We are expanding our store to include a new classroom. Classes will be beginning soon. Be sure to check out our class calendar for a listing of our upcoming classes. Also, new is our Premier Scrapbook Getaway, “Scrappin’ on the Hill”, to be held at the Sunset Hill House, www.sunsethillhouse.com March 30-April 1, 2007.
